Everything published on solidaritytools.com is free to copy, change, translate,
print and pass on, including in paid work. There are two conditions, and both
exist so that nobody can take this work, close it up, and sell it back to the
people it was written for.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
---------------
- Copy and share any page, on paper or online, in full or in part.
- Change it: rewrite it for your country, sector, language, or your group's rules.
- Use it in paid work: a charged training session, a paid consultancy, a course,
  a funded project.
- Print it and sell printed copies, or include it in a paid handbook.
- Publish it on your own website, intranet, noticeboard or wiki.

THE TWO CONDITIONS

2. SHARE-ALIKE — if you publish a changed version, it goes out under this same
   licence. Not a stricter one, not all-rights-reserved, not behind its own
   paywall. Whoever picks up your version gets the freedom you got here.

You may not add legal or technical restrictions on top of this licence — no
locking it down for a company, no rights-management wrapper that prevents
copying, no members-only version of a modified page.

THE EXACT TERMS

- Code and tools — the community energy co-op dashboard and anything else
  published as software:
    GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 or later (AGPL-3.0-or-later)
    https://www.gnu.org/licenses/agpl-3.0.html

  The code licence is stronger on purpose: if someone runs a modified version of
  these tools as a service over a network, they must publish their changes. That
  is what stops a co-operative's own tool becoming a platform that bills it.

FILLING IN A TEMPLATE IS NOT PUBLISHING

Filling in an agreement, checklist or table for your own group is use, not
publication. Your completed agreement, your minutes, your members' names and
your figures are yours and are private. There is nothing to publish and nothing
to share. Share-alike only applies when you put a changed version in front of
other people.
